Progress in the "Studio"
Spring Break has come to end for this year. Last week, we enjoyed some quality family time. We went to the zoo and got together for play dates. The kids and I had so much fun exploring. The only thing that could have been better was the weather......We did have our first Thunder Storm this morning, which is a sign of spring and with Rain means NO SNOW!! LOL
I managed to get some arms done for Gabrielle. She just needs a dress now. Hopefully soon. I surely didn't have much time last week for dollies.
This little gal has been around for a couple of years. I decided to give her face a makeover and I am pleased with how she turned out.
I hope that her new Mama will love her as much as I do. :0)
Oh My!! I am sooo excited! These "walls" are the start to my brand new very own Studio!!! Thanks to my Dad, My Brother, Brother in Law, my Husband and My Father In Law for lending a helping hand and making the dream a reality! I am so excited just thinking about all of my supplies located in one space!! I will keep you posted on the progress.

Oh, you lucky, lucky girl!! I'm so happy for you to have your own studio. I'm sure that you will make it a beautiful, creative haven.

I love the doll that has been around for ages she looks so lovely, are you selling her? To have a space of your own is every crafter's dream. You can make it your own little sanctuary another world. I look forward to seeing it finished.

Love your little vintage-look dolly! Would you mind sharing what crackle medium you used? I'm after a small crackle (more crazed) look and you've got it here.
Oh-and good for you getting your own creative space. I recently achieved that goal and am so happy with my small haven. You will love it!
Love your blog.

Love the dolls! I think Gabrielle is awesome :) You are SO lucky to have a studio built for you! I understand the bit about wanting all of your supplies in one room. I have my small studio but I have taken over our dining room table and the bedroom and need a bigger studio with a few tables for sculpting with clay, sewing, packing/shipping photographing, etc. Ah well..I should be happy for what I have:)
Look forward to seeing the outcome!
